ACCESS Tri-Cities: 2nd Annual "Building Bridges & Breaking Down Barriers"

Who We Are:
ACCESS TRI-CITIES —Allying Companies, Communities, and Employees with Skills for Success.

The committee is comprised of the collaborative efforts between local businesses, service providers, and individuals with disabilities.

The purpose of the event is designed to help increase awareness about diversity and disability in the workforce while helping to bridge the gap between service providers, employers and individuals with disabilities. It is also designed to meet the needs of businesses through the hiring of qualified individuals with disabilities.

Why Attend:
*Participation in this event will increase your access to a pool of qualified and motivated job seekers with disabilities

*Dispel myths: Knowledge is important

*Link businesses and job seekers with educational opportunities, rehabilitation consultants and providers of assistive technology to assist in breaking down barriers to meaningful employment.

*Help to remove barriers for people to reach their potential

Event Schedule:
7:00am to 8:45am - Recognition & Awards Breakfast Ceremony
9:00am to 10:00am - Educational Session 1
10:15am to 11:15am - Educational Session 2
12:00pm - 1:00pm - Career Fair for High School Seniors Transitioning from School to Work
1:00pm to 3:00pm - Career Fair for Individuals with Disabilities
